A Dog Built Around Your Life. Not the Other Way Around.

Most families spend months researching breeders, interviewing trainers, managing logistics, and still bring home a puppy that needs months of work before it fits their life. Our clients don’t do any of that. They tell us what they need. We handle everything else.

Why Time Is the Only Variable That Matters in Dog Training

There are no shortcuts in exceptional dog training.

The difference between a nicely trained dog and a truly finished one is time: time spent building habits, time spent in real environments, and time spent shaping behavior until it feels natural instead of fragile.

Months of daily structure matter. Repetition matters. Exposure matters. The goal is not just a dog that can perform commands in one setting, but a dog that can settle into your home, travel well, move calmly through public life, and feel easy to live with every day.

A dog trained for four months arrives with a meaningful foundation. A dog trained for twelve months arrives far more settled, polished, and prepared for the life waiting on the other side of the handoff.

That is why every placement begins with one question: what do you want this dog to be able to do in your life?

The answer shapes everything: the dog we choose, the training path we continue, the level of customization involved, and how far we carry the process for you.

We do not begin with a package. We begin with the life you want the dog prepared for.

Training is not an add-on here. It is the first thought.

The Aspen Protocol

Every placement includes our health warranty and lifetime founder support.

The Aspen Protocol is the foundation behind every dog we place.

Every Goldendoodle and Cockapoo at Happy Doodle Farm begins under the same standard of breeding, training, care, and daily development. What changes from one placement to the next is not whether the dog is trained well. What changes is time, depth, customization, and how far we continue carrying the process for you.

Some dogs go home earlier as beautifully started companions with a strong head start. Others continue on into more advanced placements with additional public exposure, travel experience, founder-led delivery, home installation, and long-term support.

The standard stays the same. The level of development and founder involvement is what changes.

The Executive Companion

From $30,000

For the family who wants an exceptional dog with a real head start and is comfortable taking over more of the relationship after placement.

Four months of structured daily training produces a dog with strong obedience fundamentals, crate comfort, leash manners, household reliability, and the kind of calm baseline temperament that makes every next step easier. This dog does not arrive as a blank slate. He arrives with a meaningful foundation already in place.

Executive Companion clients receive monthly video updates throughout training, direct access to our team during the development period, and a comprehensive training handoff so the work can continue smoothly at home.

This is the entry point to the Aspen Protocol at Happy Doodle Farm and still represents a level of breeding, care, and training depth that most breeders never approach.

Client pickup may be arranged from our Kentucky farm at this level. Founder-led delivery is available when desired and is recommended whenever preserving the handoff matters.

Includes a 24-month genetic health warranty. If a covered genetic condition arises within two years of delivery, we replace the dog. Replacement training is available at 50% of the original program rate.

Best for: families who want a beautifully started dog and are comfortable carrying more of the transition themselves.

Founder-Led Estate Placement

From $50,000

For the family that wants the dog, the training, the delivery, and the home transition handled correctly from beginning to end.

Eight months of training produces a dog that arrives not just obedient, but genuinely polished. This is not a promising student. This is a dog who has already spent meaningful time learning how to live well in the world — at home, in transit, and in the kinds of public and private environments where behavior matters.

Founder-Led Estate Placement clients receive weekly video updates with milestone reporting, founder-led in-cabin delivery to their home city, and a complete installation day. We do not leave until the dog is settled, the family is confident, the routines are established, and the transition is moving in the right direction.

This level is designed for clients who want more than training. They want the outcome protected. As a dog reaches a higher level of polish, the handoff matters more, not less. Delivery and installation are part of preserving what has already been built.

Includes 90 days of post-delivery remote support with scheduled 30- and 60-day virtual check-ins.

Includes a 48-month genetic health warranty. If a covered genetic condition arises within four years of delivery, we replace the dog. Replacement training is available at 50% of the original program rate.

Best for: families who want a highly polished dog and want the arrival handled with the same care as the training.

The Private Commission

From $100,000

Our most comprehensive placement, designed for clients who want not only the highest level of customization, but a lasting relationship with the people who built the dog.

Twelve months of training allows us to shape the dog around your actual life: your home, your travel, your schedule, your expectations, your family dynamic, and the level of public composure or social warmth you want the dog to carry. We do not simply train the dog well. We train the dog toward your world specifically.

Private Commission clients receive priority access to our founders, guaranteed scheduling priority, and the highest level of continuity we offer. This tier exists for clients who do not want a one-time transaction. They want their dog people.

The Private Commission includes:

— 12 months of personalized, lifestyle-specific training
— Weekly video updates with detailed milestone reporting
— Founder-led concierge delivery anywhere in the continental United States
— A full founder-led installation day
— Priority direct access to our founders for the life of the dog
— Quarterly virtual check-ins
— One included on-site visit anywhere in the continental United States during year one
— One annual 3-week refresher residency at our farm for the life of the dog
— Access to a private post-placement services menu available only to Private Commission clients

This is the tier for families who want the strongest continuity, the highest access, and the most complete long-term protection we offer.

Includes a lifetime hereditary health warranty. If your dog is diagnosed with a covered hereditary condition at any point in life, we replace the dog, complete a full training program, and deliver again.

Best for: clients who want the highest-touch relationship, the strongest long-term backing, and ongoing priority access to the people behind the dog.

The Happy Doodle Farm Standard

Some things do not change from one placement to the next.

Founder Involvement

We are not a facility with rotating staff or disconnected departments. The same people who breed your dog help develop your dog, shape the training, and guide the handoff. That continuity is not a luxury add-on. It is one of the reasons our placements feel so different from the standard breeder experience.

Health Warranty

Every placement includes a health warranty because we stand behind the genetics, care, and planning behind every dog we raise. We have spent years building this program carefully, and we believe clients should feel that confidence when they bring a dog home from us.

Lifetime Founder Support

Our relationship does not end at delivery. We remain available for the life of your dog as a resource for questions, guidance, and ongoing support. Whether you need help with routines, travel, equipment, or the small decisions that come with living with a well-trained dog, you come back to the people who already know the dog and the standard behind it.

Trained Goldendoodle in a down position

The Aspen Protocol Social Proof

"We received pictures as soon as our little guy was born and were kept updated throughout the training process. The Happy Doodle team delivered our puppy straight to our door and sat patiently with us as we asked all of our questions, and they've remained a resource even after dropping the puppy off."

Private Client Services

For select clients, we also offer additional founder-led support when preserving continuity matters more than simply finding coverage. Travel, logistics, and coordination within the continental United States are built into the quoted price.

Pre-Placement Integration Visit

We bring your dog to your home during training for a managed overnight visit, giving your family an early opportunity to experience the dog in your real environment before placement is complete.

Event & Social Support

For select clients who are traveling, hosting, relocating, or navigating a major household transition, we can step back in to preserve the dog’s routines, handling style, and overall standard of behavior.

Extended Founder-Led Support

For more complex situations or longer engagements, we offer private follow-on support tailored to the dog, the household, and the level of continuity required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How far in advance should I begin?
For our more advanced placements, we recommend beginning the conversation 6 to 12 months before your ideal delivery date. Exceptional dog training takes time, and that timeline cannot be rushed. If you already have a date or season in mind, the earlier we speak, the better we can shape the placement around it.

Q: Can you deliver anywhere in the United States?
Yes. We work with clients across the country and have completed recent placements in markets like Manhattan, Beverly Hills, Greenwich, Dallas, Denver, the Washington, D.C. suburbs, and the Bay Area. We handle the travel, delivery, and transition process so distance does not become the client’s problem.

Q: What is the difference between the Executive Companion and the Founder-Led Estate Placement?
The difference is how far we continue carrying the process for you. The Executive Companion gives you a beautifully trained dog with a strong foundation and a meaningful head start. The Founder-Led Estate Placement includes more training time, more polish, founder-led delivery, and a full in-home installation so the transition is handled correctly from the beginning.

Q: What if I am not sure which program is right for me?
That is exactly what the consultation is for. We will ask about your home, your schedule, your expectations, and the kind of life you want the dog prepared for, then tell you honestly which path makes sense. Sometimes that means recommending a different timeline or even telling you it is not the right moment yet.

Q: What makes the Private Commission different from simply buying a trained dog?
The Private Commission is our highest-touch placement. It builds the dog around your actual life, not just a general training standard. It also includes the strongest continuity of support: priority founder access, long-term check-ins, refresher training, and the highest level of replacement and warranty protection we offer. It is not just a trained dog. It is an ongoing relationship with the people who built the dog.

Q: Do you train dogs for apartment and city living?
Yes. We regularly prepare dogs for dense urban environments where elevator comfort, lobby manners, public neutrality, traffic noise, and calm behavior in shared spaces all matter. Several of our recent placements have been in cities and major metro areas where those skills are essential.

Q: Can you train for therapy work, facility work, or disability-related tasks?
Yes. We have completed therapy, facility, and service-related placements when the fit, timeline, and training needs are appropriate. These dogs usually require longer development and a more customized plan than our standard companion programs, so they are typically discussed through private consultation.

Q: What is included in a founder-led installation?
Founder-led installation means we do not simply hand over the dog and leave. On delivery day, we walk you through the dog’s communication, routines, boundaries, and the practices that matter most in the first days at home. The higher the level of placement, the more important the handoff becomes, so we stay until the transition is moving in the right direction.

Q: What does a trained placement cost?
Pricing depends on the level of training, founder involvement, delivery, and long-term support built into the placement. Our Executive Companion begins at $30,000, our Founder-Led Estate Placement begins at $50,000, and our Private Commission begins at $100,000. Every placement begins with a private consultation so we can recommend the right fit before discussing final scope.

Q: What is the Aspen Protocol?
The Aspen Protocol is the training-first foundation behind every dog we place. It includes our breeding standards, early development, socialization, household structure, training philosophy, and placement process. It is not a separate package or luxury add-on. It is the standard every Happy Doodle Farm dog begins under.

Every Placement Begins With a Conversation.

We don’t have a checkout button. We have a consultation.

Every family we work with starts with a private conversation — about their life, their home, their expectations, and whether the timing is right. We’ll tell you honestly which program fits and what to expect. Sometimes we’ll tell you the timing isn’t right. We’d rather say that now than have you and a dog figure it out later.

If you’ve found this page because you want something different from what every other breeder offers — this is where that starts.
